A Metalworking Machine - Arrow Machine And Fabrication Group

With 100 years in the industry, the team at Arrow Machine & Fabrication Group understands the unique challenges that other owner-operators face, and put our time-honoured principles of commitment, perseverance, and quality to work for our acquired companies.

Our “operators partnering with operators” approach fosters strategic alliances and fuels mutual business growth. In other words, we don’t engage in acquisitions that prioritize financial benefits only. Instead, we build partnerships that deliver strength and prosperity for our company and our industry as a whole.

Who Is Arrow Machine & Fabrication Group?

Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group is an engineering-focused solution provider of machined castings, fabrications, and assemblies for leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the agriculture, construction, rail, and engineered products sectors, among others. If a company needs high-quality parts and equipment for virtually any application, our team can help.

Our global OEM clients include Toyota Industrial, John Deere, Komatsu, General Dynamics Land Systems, Tigercat, Volvo Construction, Bruce Power, Tenneco, Nexteer, Conti-Tech, Magna, Mack Defense, and other well-respected brands who understand that quality products are rooted in finding the right metalworking partner to bring their designs to life.

We also head up the world’s largest metalworking network, with production facilities and supply campuses across three countries. Our unique model enables us to undertake projects of unlimited scalability, a capability that our competitors struggle to achieve. Our entire team ensures high-quality results and a reliable, vertically integrated global supply chain that improves scheduling, reduces time-to-market, and lowers costs.

Arrow’s corporate team anticipates continued rapid growth by actively acquiring mid-sized companies with complementary capabilities and OEM customers. With this approach, we’re projected to reach $1 billion in global revenue before the end of this decade.

What We Look For In Partner Companies

Arrow partners with owner-operators who are also interested in progressive, organic business growth but are hindered by financing or team bandwidth constraints. Ideally, they’re competitive, well-respected, up to date with advanced technology, and should generate $5 million or more in annual revenue.

We carry out acquisitions with long-term partnerships in mind. Arrow isn’t in the business of flipping, relocating, or dissecting partner companies. Our moves are strategic, not solely based on short-term financial gain.

Companies interested in joining Arrow can expect to continue running their day-to-day operations with complete financial, strategic, management, business development, and supply chain support from our leadership team.

Why Partner With Arrow?

What separates us from financial entities that specialize in acquiring companies is that we’re also metalworking owner-operators who understand the challenges you currently face. We help our partners deleverage personal financial risk, enabling them to move forward toward sustainable growth.

Much of our success is due to the extraordinary vision of our President and CEO, Mike Ritchie. He started as an owner-operator of CGL Manufacturing, our anchor company. He grew CGL to over $75 million in revenue before launching Arrow in 2021 by consolidating CGL with Steelcraft Inc. and VeriForm.

As of July 2025, he has added several other respected metalworking companies to the Arrow family, including Baumeier Corporation and Lumar Machine & Manufacturing Ltd, both Canadian-based, as well as Kenona Industries in the United States.

Through Mike, Arrow has also formed a joint partnership with The CTD Group to establish AC Fabrication & Assembly Solutions, and a strategic alliance with XGP Canada called XGP Arrow, further strengthening the company’s position in the metalworking space.

Each of our acquisitions is part of a best-in-class OEM supplier network that mutually broadens one another’s capabilities to serve a growing list of OEM customers. As part of one or more of Arrow’s four divisions – Arrow Engineered Products, Arrow Off-Road, Arrow Automotive, and Arrow Precision Machining – our partner companies support one another to help foster growth across the board.

What’s In It For Your Metalworking Company?

Simply put, the potential for progressive, long-term organic growth is virtually limitless.

Some of the main benefits include increased scalability using fewer resources, reducing overhead costs through resource consolidation, and access to new capabilities that can address all your customers’ needs.

Our acquisition transactions are clean, straightforward, efficient, and transparent, typically lasting 3-6 months with minimal disruptions to operations. We will work closely with your intermediary to ensure clear and timely communication, helping the process move forward while you focus on running your business.

In most cases, owner-operators stay to grow the business and reduce their financial burden and the stress of running their operation independently. Many grow their wealth by retaining an equity stake while being part of the larger group. We create deal structures that are personal, not prescriptive, based on shared values, mutual respect, and trust, and are structured to meet the unique needs of each owner-operator, their families, and teams. This approach reflects our partnership mindset that helps both our companies and people prosper.

Why Do We Do Things This Way?

Our leadership team is composed of individuals like you. Our boots have walked the shop floor, our hands have guided fabrication tools across metal, and our hearts are placed in helping our industry grow and sharing the prosperity with our stakeholders.

In other words, we haven’t forgotten that our business isn’t just about products: it’s about people. There’s nothing we’d like more than to explore partnership opportunities with your team and help secure the future of our industry.
