Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group Supports Local Food Banks With Thanksgiving Drive And Blue Jays Raffle

October 31, 2025

GUELPH, CANADA, October 28, 2025 – Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group has once again demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the communities where it operates, launching a two-part charitable initiative in support of local food banks this Thanksgiving season.

Leading up to Thanksgiving, employees across Arrow’s facilities in Guelph, Cambridge, Stratford, and St. Thomas participated in a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help families in need. For every pound of food donated, Arrow matched $1, and the company also matched all cash contributions.

Together, Arrow employees collected $834 worth of food donations and $240 in cash, for a total of $1074, which Arrow then matched, resulting in a combined contribution of $2148 to local food banks, including:

  • Salvation Army (Guelph)
  • Cambridge Food Bank (Cambridge)
  • House of Blessing (Stratford)
  • Thomas Elgin Food Bank (St. Thomas)

In addition, Arrow ran a company-wide Blue Jays World Series ticket raffle to further raise funds for the same food banks. Employees could donate $10 for one entry or $25 for three entries, with a maximum of $100 per person (12 entries). The raffle generated $3,650, which Arrow matched for a total of $7,300, to be divided among the four food banks.

Four lucky Arrow employees each won a pair of tickets to the first two World Series games, celebrating both their generosity and the spirit of giving.

“We have facilities in these towns, our people live here and we are proud to support the communities where we live and work. Helping out locally is the right thing to do,” said Mike Ritchie, President and CEO of Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group.

Arrow plans to continue its community outreach programs throughout the year and is exploring additional charitable raffles as the World Series progresses.
