GUELPH, CANADA, February 11, 2022 – Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group (AMFG) of Guelph, Ontario, announced the acquisition of Veriform, a metal fabrication firm located in Cambridge, Ontario.
With this acquisition, Arrow continues to add to its growing roster of steel design, manufacturing, and fabrication companies. The move also increases Arrow’s global customer base and manufacturing footprint while increasing its capacity to provide niche fabrication services.
“Veriform is a welcome addition to the Arrow family,” says Arrow President and CEO Mike Ritchie. “They’ve been in business for many years and offer solutions that complement those of our other divisions. The acquisition is a great win that creates additional value for our customers.”
A North American leader in precision sheet metal fabrication since 1996, Veriform primarily serves the mining, forestry, nuclear, defense and machine-building sectors out of a single 26,000 sq. ft. facility. The company is recognized by several trade publications for its forward-thinking environmental policies and credits its success to adopting ongoing improvements that better serve its customers.
“Our whole team is excited by this acquisition,” says Paul Rak, President of Veriform. “Being part of the Arrow group will open up our services to additional markets and fuel our growth objectives. Arrow’s ownership believes in the same commitment to providing quality work, excellent customer service, and dedication to the community we do, so the match is perfect.”
Veriform will continue to operate as an independent company under its own brand and organizational structure as they prepare to scale for increased access to new markets. Joining Arrow gives them additional opportunities for aggressive, organic growth and further investment into sustainability.
