GUELPH, CANADA, DECEMBER 13th 2024 – Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group (AMFG) of Guelph, Ontario, announced today the launch of its newest division, Arrow Precision Machining. This is the fourth division created by the company since its inception in 2021.
Arrow Precision Machining is the rebirth of Arrow’s most recent acquisition, Lumar Machining & Manufacturing Ltd of St. Thomas, Ontario. The former Lumar team brings over 30 years of metalworking experience to Arrow to build on its well-respected legacy of providing quality products, exceptional, responsive service, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing.
The new division will focus on delivering high-precision CNC machining, precision grinding, manual turning and milling, and inspection solutions to the defence, mining, industrial and nuclear sectors out of its 25,000-square-foot purpose-built production facility. It will also support the growth mandates of Arrow’s three other divisions, Arrow Off-Road, Arrow Engineered Products, and Arrow Automotive.
“We’re very excited to launch Arrow Precision Machining with the full support of the former Lumar team,” says Arrow President and CEO Mike Ritchie. “Our mission is to give our global OEM customers unprecedented access to world-class metalworking capabilities and a resilient supply chain that protects and improves their production scheduling. Arrow Precision Machining will strengthen our ability to deliver on our mandate and promote sustainable organic growth for our suppliers, partners, and customers.”
Heading up the new Arrow division is Troy Solinger, who brings extensive metalworking experience and a commitment to continuous improvement and organic expansion aligned with Arrow’s growth mandate.
“As a new Arrow division, our entire team is excited for the future,” says Mr. Solinger. “Arrow shares the same commitment to integrity, respect, safety, and quality as we do, making us the perfect addition to their growing complement of people and capabilities. I know that this new partnership will not only benefit our stakeholders but also the metalworking industry as a whole.”
